Rachael Mirth is the artist, carver, and woman behind the saw of Mirthful Creations. This full-time, award-winning wood sculptor is dedicated to crafting pieces that move you and transform your space: either a custom sculpture made especially for you, or one of the select masterpieces from her rotating collection of ready-made art awaiting the perfect home. Rachael has a deep passion for aquatic-themed art, from freshwater favorites to saltwater giants! She is also enthusiastically expanding her creative frontier into expressive human forms and other new artistic themes, continuing to evolve and grow with every piece she carves.

Using chainsaws, power tools, and a whole lot of heart, Rachael travels and carves in beautiful places across the United States. She typically migrates north in the warmer months and heads south when the temperature drops. Without a permanent studio, she embraces the freedom to carve in different locations; each new setting offering fresh scenery and inspiration for her work.
